Advanced Modeling
« on: September 28, 2013, 08:22:19 AM »
I do not know much about this company at the moment as they appear to not have a web page.  The few products I have seen so far have been in the product reviews Scott Van Aken at Modeling Madness and has not provided a link to a web page with any of the reviews so far in any of the reviews.  If anyone has a link to the Advanced Modeling web page, please let me know so I can include it here or you can add it as your own comment to this thread.  Here are the links for the products that have been reviewed by Scott Van Aken at Modeling Madness so far:

Advanced Modeling 48049: FAB-250 M-62 Bombs

Advanced Modeling 48048: FAB-250 M54 Bombs

Advanced Modeling 48032: ZAB-500Sh 500kg Incendiary Bombs

Advanced Modeling 48025: RBK-500 PTAB-1 500kg Cluster Bomb

Advanced Modeling 48024: RBK-500 ShOAB-0.5 Cluster Bomb

Advanced Modeling 48010 MBD3-U6-68 Multiple Bomb Racks

Advanced Modeling 48062: OFAB-100-120 Fragmentation Bombs

Advanced Modeling 48107-1: Hydraulic Jacks with traverse

Advanced Modeling 48100: ASh-62 IR Radial Engine

Advanced Modeling 48108: Aircraft Wheel Chocks

So far everything is intended for Russian/Warsaw Pact aircraft with a very nice level of detail to be found on these items in the above reviews.

According to the most recent installment in the on-going kit reviews at ModelingMadness the Advanced Modeling product line will be available through Stevens International and as such should be available through many of your local hobby shops that use Stevens as a supplier.

***Update to add link to another product review.

Interesting to see all the Russian ordnance now appearing.  Pity most of it's in the wrong scale.  Nor is much information available as to what these piece of equipment actually are or when or what they were used on.  Anybody know any good books on Soviet/Russian aircraft ordnance?
