Title: 1/72 Morane-Saulnier MS.480 Morse
Post by: The Big Gimper on February 15, 2017, 04:47:58 AM: I owe you some pictures so here is where I am at with my now designated Morane-Saulnier MS.480 Morse.

It is coming along. I am still working on the engine nacelle and pylon. The floats are not yet glued on.

So far I am using parts from different 4 kits.

Markings are TBD.

Thank you. The fuselage and floats are from the Matchbox Walrus. The wings are from a B7A1 Grace. The engine cowl is from the B7A1 Grace and the back is from a cut up 1/48 drop tank. I scratch built the engine mount.

Post by: tankmodeler on February 24, 2017, 04:39:49 AM: To give it that interwar French look (which is generally to say, as ugly as sin) if you could find some angular or disproportionately bulbous turrets for the nose and dorsal positions, they would fit perfectly. They'd probably need to be modified, have the framing sanded off and repolished, but something bulbous like a B-10 turret or the like would suit the bill.

Only one rifle caliber MG, of course.
