Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

What does it need an arrester hook for ?, it can fly slower than the fastest the ship can do.

Was there any indication as to how manoverabile the F5U would have been, what with its unusual wing profile??

Would have had excellent roll rate due to small span for its size, would have been able to fly at high AoA (reputedly the V-173 was controllable up to 45 degs), but would have been most manoeuverable at slow speeds. At high speeds the long chord would have made things difficult, basically would have been like a delta wing: good instant G but poor sustained G, as most of the wing would be causing drag.
