To begin with, what about a version given the "XB-38" treatment and given four liquid cooled engines instead of the air cooled radials?  Maybe something from the Jumo 211 series or the DB601 series?

I also have a plan for a version built in Australia under licence by CAC - initially as a civilian transport but later adapted for maritime patrol work.

With developed versions powered by British or US radial engines built under license?

Haven't decided.  I am bouncing between Wright Cyclones (similar to the Lockheed Hudson's used by the RAAF) or Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasps (as also used on RAAF Beauforts).  I am tempted to give the maritime version a turret from a Hudson.

The twin engined version could be a development of the Fw206:

Love the bus in this drawing, that has a nice model in 1/72 suggests a nice diorama. Fuel truck can be added.

All those engine variations are super.  Food for thought for a build.

Looks a lot like a DC-3/C-47.

The two Fw 200 KB-1 (Wn. 200-0009 and 200-0010) airliners for Finland were P&W powered, never delivered they
were used by DLH as Fw 200 D-1, D-AEQP Kurmark and D-AFST Westfalen respectively.

The three KC-1 for Japan were used as D-2a D-AWSK Rheinland, D-2b D-ACWG Holstein, D-2c D-AHML Pommern.

All of the KB and KC machines eventually ended up in Lutwaffe service.

The civil B/D series had the dual landing gear and engine installation (cowlings etc.) of the military variants.

Fw 200 L, proposed long-range airliner variant.

G-AGAY was Det Danske Luftfartselskab OY-DAM Dania, and OY-DEM Jutlandia,
ere painted in overall orange neutrality markings in 1940.

Syndicato Condor's other Fw 200 A-0 aircraft, PP-CBJ, Arumani was re-engined with Pratt & Whitney
engines in 1943.

The Spanish one is rather fetching, but

That said, I am awfully tempted to do a civilian version in QANTAS scheme or similar:

How can one tempt you to do it? That would be beautiful, especially with new engines like Cyclones.

Apparently Japan did want FW200s but events overtook this:

CFBV

Further to above, the Japanese Navy were the first to request a military version of the Fw 200 for search and patrol duties, which led to Kurt Tank designing the Fw 200 V10 with military equipment. This Fw 200 was held in Germany because war had broken out in Europe by that time and became the basis for all later military models used by the Luftwaffe.

Diorama of Hitler's Condor hitting a smoke stack, on the way to meet Finland's CGE Mannerheim in 1942?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler_and_Mannerheim_recording

Some believed that exactly that almost happened, but most likely the pilot knew exactly what he was doing.
