I don't feel comfortable with this animal, but knowing this is just a model, not a beast ready to bite me, I enjoy! ;)

Interesting flying predator, there; I daresay it would be a challenge to swat with all those eyes.

An-2 sailing car, red Re: hybrid aircraft/animals and others
« Reply #1154 on: February 11, 2018, 01:22:19 AM »
something else : remainders of the day

from older projects, I had a fuselage of an An-2, and sails from a Sinagot
(as well as bits for the front and tail, and wheel from a Fokker Dr.1 and a Me262 ...)

They do fit together into a sailing car :

Beautiful!!  Just the kind of vehicle to be operated by an heir of "Windwagon Smith" (Google him; I heard of him from living in Wichita, KS; never knew about the animated feature until I googled him).

a 100% organic proposal this time,
no mechanical device (e.g., aircraft) was harmed during the making of this build

I still have brains in my stash :

Curiously attractive!!  It looks like it belongs in a Fifties sf/horror movie.

I have not watched that one, my comment was made have in jest based on the nonsense I have watched that belonged on "One Star Theater" (A late weekend night showing of only the absolutely worst movies, like "The Big Claw" et al.).

Unique!!  It can't fly, but it sure can run over 'most any terrain.  It would be quite the light field transport.

I would not say "cute!", because I have been educated to feel this tail is very dangerous. Anyway this is the most gorgeous less ugly scorpion I have ever seen!

Like the Martian sensor/weapons pod in George Pal's version of War of the Worlds?
