W.W.III-Between the years of 1946-1955 GB Rules
« on: July 27, 2015, 03:15:49 AM »
1. WWIII in this context is a new global war that breaks out between 1946 and 1955 as opposed to WWII lasting longer.

2. WWIII 46-55 GB runs from August 1st through Sep. 30th, 2015. With a possible extension, depending on my will (bribes and other inducements welcomed...hehehe! ).  Exemptions due to internet/computer issues will be determined by the GB moderator on a case-by-case basis.

3. Any military (no civil) subject, real or whif, conceivably relating to WWIII in 1946-55 timeframe is eligible.

4. Entries will be accepted in 2 categories: 3D physical models, 2D artwork/profiles/illustrated stories. Winners will be chosen by vote of the forum members. Entries must be posted to the Completed Entries thread by the deadline to be included in the voting.

5. For each category (3D and 2D) there will be 2 winners: most voted model and most voted modeler (considering the sum of votes in case a modeler contributes with more than one entry. Votes in different categories will not be added.

6. WWIII themed projects finished before this GB can be posted in the Display Only section. Show your stuff and inspire others at the same time!

7. Half-starts and refurbs/rebuilds are allowed if they're done within the GB timeframe and require major work to be completed.

8. Decisions of the GB moderator are final. If you're not sure your entry is eligible, please ask before posting it.

9. Have fun!

Any of you can contribute with your ideas and, if needed, we can change or clarify any rule, before starting date.

This is kind of OT, but that is a really beautiful photo.  Nicely framed, the psint-stained but not grotty workbench, the jam lid in back to give it scale.

This is the segway to ask for a delay in signing the instrument of surrender.

My Dearest Benevolent GB Moderator!

I unfortunately now have to be on the road for business travel for the last two weeks of September. I will be unable to complete my other builds.

Therefore I am asking for a two week extension.

I can if the moderator wants evidence that I am telling truth, I can provide airline tickets, car rental reservation, or hotel reservation if required.

I wait in anticipation of your most generous reply.

Thank you

I never liked John Lennon as a non-Beatle. Much less Yoko. That's why.
