K&S Resin product description for the RQ-11B DDL UAV:
Quote
The RQ-11B DDL is the smallest UAV in service with the US Army. With over 19,000 units produced, it is the most produced UAV in the world. With confidence from company and battalion level commanders, it is able to see trouble spots over the horizon, allowing ground troops to avoid those spots. And now firmly in the hands of US SOCCOM operators, it is sure to make it's mark in the world again, helping those special operations forces to do their jobs faster, and with less risk to themselves.

K&S Resin's new 1/35 RQ-11B DDL is an accurate replica of this outstanding addition to the US Army. With 27 resin pieces, this model is easy enough for beginners, and advanced enough to make more experienced modelers excited to get their hands on it. Current and up to date, the new resin RQ-11B DDL UAV from K&S Resin will surely capture a place of interest in any modeler's collection.

Kit contents:
Two firgues (one kneeling with remote control and the other launching the Raven)
Two hard plastic cases
Portable, stand alone antenna (with brass wire for control cable)
7 piece resin Raven UAV (with clear disk for spinning prop)

In addition to an instant vignette depicting a UAV team you could also use artistic license and create an R/C aircraft enthusiast out flying his model on a nice day.  Something similar has been done previously by combining a large scale figure (1/32nd - 1/24th scale) with smaller 1/700th and 1/350th scale aircraft subjects.

K&S Resin currently has three 1/35th scale models to offer and hopefully that number will increase in time to include other esoteric subjects.  The one that caught my eye was the 1/35th scale CRRC (Combat Rubber Raiding Craft) kit which includes two boats, oars (paddles), and an outboard motor.  I have a couple of the older Italeri SCUBA/UDT kits that have something that passes for a Zodiac or Avon type inflatable rubber boat with a small outboard and portable fuel tank.  This represents something that was in use by the military for many years and something that I have trained on while attending the Strategic Industrial Target Analysis Course at Fort Meade, MD.  The type was replaced by the CRRC.  Hobby Fan offers a very nice 1/35th scale resin CRRC as a vignette/mini-diorama that includes four figures on an ocean wave base depicting the CRRC underway in a very appealing action scene.  The Hobby Fan kit is hard to find and very expensive if you do find one.  So for a fraction of the cost you can get much more for your modeling money with the K&S CRRC.
