Always appreciate your work on all things Leopard and Marder.  So many interesting variations to share.

Follow me on this.

The Canadians sent the Mexas to Afghanistan in 2006.

This story takes place in 2007, the infantry grunt narrator identifed the armor unit as 1) British and 2) equipped with Challengers but since the British didn't send Challengers to Afghanistan and the Mexas has the L7 (as mentioned in the story) I think we know who the real culprits were.  ;)

Without going through it again (No, I don't like the Venga Boys, either) they seemed to go by the callsign "Leopard"/"Leopard 2", which may also be a bit of a hint as to what popped around the corner. ;)

There is that, but I didn't want to be Captain Obvious again

Great stuff, Didi! What an array

I especially liked your detail of picnic coolers on top of the 'plain' C2 and the tank with mine rollers  :D

They all came out great! I thought the second picture was a reference shot of a 1:1 tank.

Part 5, my other canadian Armour:

Model from ca 2019:

conversion based on the ESCI Piranhas, 30 years ago. The Husky is the Trumpeter kit

"what if", Canada was once interested in this

Great to see your Canadian Leo 2s again. I especially love your Leopard 2 A6M CAN build complete with 'Roll Out' placards  :-*

... conversion based on the ESCI Piranhas, 30 years ago. The Husky is the Trumpeter kit ...

I had no idea that you had modelled the AVGPs! And the 'prototypes' to boot ... too cool  8)

... "what if", Canada was once interested in this ...

Another blast-from-the-past! Perhaps that 'Marten' was a "what if" but also very much a 'should-have-been'
