I thought I'd bring my most recently 'completed' build over to share. This one is for an Australia GB on another board. It's the nice Academy 1/72 kit built OOB except for a stretched sprue seat firing handle and a pilot figure and AIM-9Ds from the spares box. Decals are mostly from a Fujimi A-4. This started out with the intention of a camo scheme, similar to the late RAN's late A-4G scheme, but with gray, blue, and tan as the colors. For some reason I could never make this look 'right' so I fell back on a USN scheme, following on from the RAN's A-4 scheme.
It's been relocated to proper stand, but for not the only pics I have are these, so here she is:
RAN 805 Squadron Super Etendard, late 1979 Exocet trials aircraft. In addition to the normal VF-805 markings this example carries a 'zap', a small USN stars and bars sticker on the left intake. This zap was recently acquired on an overnight stay at Subic Bay.
