Title: 1/32 Thylacine
Post by: uncle les on September 08, 2017, 10:08:26 PM
Well. a Tasmanian Tiger was the closest Aussie simile I could think of - you know, like Bush Pig was to aardvark...
So anyway...  this:

This was another F5 made from a kit that once belonged to the late Eric Sujecki of VHC fame here in Melbourne - I made it in a manner fitting Eric's and my shared interests !
I'll throw some more pics in later when I tidy it up.
Here's what it looked like last Sunday:

Here's the inspiration:

and of course the whatif sideviews by CiTrus90 and the back story by KiwiZac found elsewhere on this site provided the main push to putting roos on it - although I looked up what a Badina was so I'll stick with the Tiger nomenclature !

Beautiful F-5E variant.  The decals and markings really fit.

Of course one could do a quite interesting "Tiger Meet" version based upon this:

So fine with so many details.  Beyond my skill and patience.  This build and F-5 are both cool. 8)
