Title: Resurrected UCAV Project

Topsides and underside are going to get a coat of terra cotta texture paint prior to the final scheme going on.

Post by: Doom! on November 11, 2012, 08:56:32 AM: LJ, remember to do the texture paint in manageable sections, if you handle it before it sets up it will squish, a little tricky to work with but well worth the effort.

I masked off some small access panel outlines to break up the terra cotta pattern, the underside will have some as well.

I did manage to squeeze in a little time on the bench:

The ordnance is ready to hang on the rotary launcher.

Yes, sir, the Trumpy M198 donated the shell shapes for the warhead, then various diameters of evergreen tubing and whatever was handy made up the rest. The prototype is the best of the four, that's what I get for stopping before they were all completed, so there are some serious variations in the wings and tail fins. But they'll do the trick, I think.
