Hello,
Here is my entry for this group build. These are essentially dieselpunk/techno WWII rocket fighter planes adapted from propeller fighter designs. I don't really have a full universe or anything written up for these, but I hope you enjoy!
Here's the first one, adapted from the classic Supermarine Spitfire.

Here's a captured Luftwaffe BF-181 Fleischwolf, in USAAF scheme.

I don't think I'm allowed to post the Luftwaffe version here with the USAAF version, so here's the Luftwaffe ones on my thread: http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=7095.msg137541#msg137541 (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=7095.msg137541#msg137541)

Thank you!
Here's three B-17s of the USAAF and one of the Meritonian commonwealth air force. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to include a fictitious nation (there was nothing said about it in the rules) so if this is against the rules, I can remove it.

What I said seemed to mean I love only the jet Spitfire. :-* This is wrong: I love even twice more the Bf-181! :-* :-*

Is Meritonia a micronation you invented?

In the rules of the GB, it says drawings and writings are allowed, so here is a little break from the airplanes. Just a small scene of some American infantry in 1946, at the height of the "First Atomic War" as it says on the aircraft sheets.

"September 23rd, 1946. American troops of the 12th ID (Infantry Division), United States Army, pause to survey the now abandoned ruins of Saint-Malo, France. In the distance, a tall mushroom cloud from an atomic artillery strike looms over the land."
-
The Soviets have to have some of these fancy new aircraft too, of course. ;)

Nakajima floatplanes captured by the USN. These would probably be used in very limited numbers by the United States Navy as there would be a lack of spare parts and ultimately an entirely different control scheme and cockpit design pilots would have to learn in order to fly them.
