Title: American Civil War as a prelude to WWII
Post by: ysi_maniac on August 04, 2018, 01:35:02 PM
It is generally accepted that the Spanish Civil War was a prelude to the Second World War. What if American Civil War were a prelude to WWII?

Let's say the American Civil War did not occur in the 19th century and that the economic and social problems generated by the crisis of 1929 in Wall Street sharpened certain tensions that had been existing for almost a century between the southern and northern states. Here I do not dare to start a historical fiction that can be very interesting but I am not an expert in US history. But I invite you to add what you consider appropriate.

If this were the case, the confederated states, accepting their delay in modern armament, would try to acquire it in the best European suppliers ... of course Germany!
