Long Winged Pfiel
« on: March 04, 2012, 10:42:34 AM »
I was going to start my "Stipa Triumphant! build for the GB, but the tubes I'd been saving for it have
vanished mysteriously, so I reached for an old Lindberg Do 335, and a Heller FW 190, and got a bit
 vigorous with the razor saw.

Probably just as well-the other project was going to be bit more involved-this I think I can finish.
Finish may be be something JAAF-in spite of the provenance of the parts, it just feels Japanese.

Quite so! I did a little more with it this week-test fitting the FW canopy, and cutting away the upper
rudder with an eye to raising it slightly. Pictures for this and the Vierbeiner will be held off until
I get them a bit further along-I really can't afford to go with the 'unlimited' version of Flickr at the
 moment.
