Found this via the Facebook Vacuform/Resin Kit Builders group.

Hello,

I am close to finishing the conversion of the 8-engined YB-49 to the 6-engined YRB-49A. It is being built for the Museum at Edwards AFB. The conversion parts are cast in resin. The conversion will be available through Muroc Models.

Hello,

Finally finished the YRB-49A for the Museum at Edwards AFB. It will be displayed on the "First Flights Wall", which is a 1/72 collection intended to include everything which made its first flight at Edwards. These are all built with blue painted canopies and gear up.

I you look a couple of pages back, you can see some build pictures. The resin conversion (with decals and vacuformed clear parts) is available for $59 plus postage. Production might be painfully slow. You can contact me at newmanispwest at yahoo dot com.

One of the pictures shows it sitting in front of the the Museum's TF-102.

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Wondering out loud --- will B-2 intakes-to-exhaust cut out and fit on B-49 wing ?

Not well, major differences in airfoil thickness and cross-section as well as considerably larger engines on B-2.  I had enough fun, once upon a time, working on installing and removing the engines.

and an email address:: Muroc_Models@edwardsflighttest.com.

I went back to Facebook Vacuform/Resin Kit Builders and there has been no discussion since March 2017.
