British Airways Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner, registration G-ZBJB, appears to have suffered a collapsed nose gear at Heathrow Airport this morning leaving it with its forward fuselage resting on the ground.
The aircraft is seen at an obscure angle, with fire and rescue services in attendance.
No official statement has been released yet.
Delivered 8 years ago, this aircraft was originally equipped with 154 economy seats, 25 premium economy and 35 in the business class cabin but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this aircraft was being used for cargo operations, and no passengers were onboard at the time of the incident.
