Re the F-35 comments. Let me try my hand at some Foxtrot Alpha-style reasoning:
"Look at the energy state. The Super Hornet has to deflect leading and trailing edge flaps and still has to pull alpha just to maintain formation with the Brisfit, while the latter can maintain energy by flying with wings level. Clearly this means the Super Hornet is unable to dogfight.
Buying Super Hornets is obviously a waste of taxpayer money, especially when you consider that a Brisfit costs GBP 1,350, while a new Super Hornet costs USD 60 million. Maybe we should instead look into equipping Brisfits with Super Hornet sensors."
Am I doing this right?
