Combining a Beriev with that whale was truly inspired!

You've got a most unique perspective on the hobby!

Really cool thread! I love how everything is made physically!

I've been using Meshmixer to do similar things with digital models, that can then be 3D printed:

Thanks! I've been a fan of your conceptual sketches for a while, have been meaning to get a P38 3D model and try some experiments in Meshmixer.

and the twin-shark-boom design is astonishing : a dream for Tophe certainly  ;)

thanks for you appreciation, I will continue posting things around here, and maybe your designs will inpire me for other ones  ;)

Really an outstanding use of that Letov kit. I have one in my stash but haven't built it yet. Mine has a small problem, the scalloped wing is different from the right and left sides  !!  Those "fishy" wings are outstanding. How were  they made ?

thanks Father Ennis, especially in the light of the long experience you mentioned in your other post : happy brithday !

If you have a Letov with a bug, the advantage of such "out of bounds" designs is that you can try to incosporate imperfections as design features  :D Now you just have to find out what to cross it with  ;)

The flying fish wings just come from the figurine : I chose the crossing with the Letov essentially because I had one  ;) and the sizes / length were quite the same, which makes the crossing fit nicely.

Eric, these things are closer to art than models, and I mean that in a very good way. Have you ever thought about getting them in a local gallery?

Inspired stuff.
Were going to be finished in 2020 BEFORE I start any da*!#d new ones - Maybe When Hell Freezes Over - again? - CF-IDS Wolverine; Douglas Mawson; Bubba Wants a Fishin' Rig; NA F-100

Against the Wall - Maton Dreadnought; Fender Telecaster; Epiphone Les Paul Stud

thank you all for your comments!
these are artictic models on the sense that they explore possible shapes anf forms, but still they are models, made out of bashing  ;) so I like to show here, and I might show them also to the art world, it's a matter of finding open-minded people, I know some.

Here are some more : some were made ealier in the past, but they contribute to the series.

the series started some time ago, and I didn't find the wings of the previous swan (strange, how could I forget?), but here is something else about swans : a couple, one resting and one extending wings :

and a couple of Widgeons (from Grumman, I mean) :

they crossed into, on the one side, a resting Widgeon and one extending wings :

and, on the other side, swans doing the same with Widgeon wings ...

These are wild! I really like them because its pretty rare to find a model of an animal airplane mix, no I get to see a lot more

... so are we ever going to get to see red, yellow, blue tiger stripes or camouflage?
