Falke Light with and abrupt ending...

Hi guys

A very short story with a not so happy ending..

A few year ago I built a Mak Falke. The traditional OOB stuff with just some POAF decals.

A few month ago, I deciced to make some mods, and turn it into a "Falke Light"

With some milliput and sanding paper, the transformation was done.

Then came the primer...

After that, came the anguish of choosing the painting scheme.

Influenced by the classic Saab Viggen splintered camo,  I did a similar thing in blue tones...

So far so good. So I proceeded to the varnish/decals phase...

An then disaster truck, and the poor thing got crushed and smashed beyond repair.

I managed to salvage some parts (you may recognize some in my other projects), but that was it.

End of story :(

This time they definitely did not live happily ever after :)

Brilliant conversion and the finish was great. Too bad about the disaster. I suppose most of us can sympathize having suffered similarly.

Very glad you were able to document it before it got smashed. It's a terrific idea.

I can only offer  up the same sentiments as the others before me have stated: at least we got to see it in both beautiful states before it got smashed. I really liked the metallic version to!
2 Reasons why a model is better than a wife:
1) A model doesn't get jealous when you look at another model
2) A model doesn't yell at you for spending money on another model
