Hotchkiss guns reach high enough to hit a dive bombing Zeppelin ?
Didn't find any info about it on internet :icon_crap:

Zeppelin's don't dive-bomb, but they can hover well out of range. I've no idea as to what the vertical range of a 37mm Hotchkiss might be, or, more importantly, did they have a tracer or incendiary round, what would be nessisary to be effective against a Zep'.

Thatz thorough hotchkiss info - Thanks.
Far as Zeppelins dive bombing goes.  Could be those jet Zepplins BdB wrote about.  In the fog of war you can't be sure if one did or did not.
Here at BTS a dive bombing variant of Zeppelin could be built.  Be it prop or jet ;)

While I can appreciate the fun of others kit-bashed cartoon contraptions, I tend towards designs engineered to the times and scratch-build to suit and avoid the fantasy end of the genre.

Very nice, Steve.  Design, execution and detail are all stupendous!  Stick to your guns about building what YOU like, but I appreciate that your not offended by the crazy ideas of those of us who do not feel constricted by reality!

Real cool design. Love it!

Are you planning to add some texture (paneling, riveting, etc.) to the "side skirt"?

And with the figures, it is begging to be put in an action-packed diorama :)

Classic looking landcruiser! The deck planking looks very good. The turret tops remind me of the ones on the HMVS Cerberus.

In context with the other parts of the 3rd Franco-Prussian War 9-part multi-builder diorama:

The diorama project photos are on page 2 of the album.

It's wonderful how it fits in with all the other vehicles to make such a complete display.

That's a lot of incredible modeling talent on view there!
