I had a similar idea some time ago using an AH-1 from Plastyk and fins from Zvezda's Berkut,I was thinking about a modern version of He-162...I hope to build it at some point.

That stretched Black Hawk looks like it could also be affected by Piasecki's X-49 concept.

The S-72 was my insiration for this. Here's the album, hope you like it. Don't mind the other aircraft, I was looking for paint ideas.

The cockpit section would be very useful, especially the later model Hinds. Lots of gun combinations.
