From the pretty Lightning, (I dream/fear that) Farman designed the F-238B, A, C Beautning (Beaut' stands for Beauty = Beauté in French), yes!

But if you put a rear facing engine in the center pod of C, it would truly be "une bete beauté"

Yep, it just screams early '30s and, like the later V-1710 powered pursuit concept, looks like something that would have graced
the cover of a pulp.

Farman had a big knowledge about push-pull engines, but are you sure these FPP-38B, A, A2 are becoming "beautiful"?
