Title: Operation 'Restore Hope' T72

Figured I'd finish off some uncompleted projects that were literally just gathering dust on the shelf.

This is an ESCI 1:35th build that I stopped work on close to 20 years ago. The upper half was left in flat black primer.

So I masked off the fenders and grills, gave it a dusting of GLOSS WHITE from a rattle can (which dulled nicely when it mixed with the dust on the model).  A slight wiff of desert sand from another rattle can and here we go.

Still need to finish off the T/C's cupola, fix some of the small parts where the glued failed over the years and maybe put UN markings on with a 2mm chisel tip pen (have to go source one of those in this time of cooties).

So here's the inspiration - Indian Army tanks in support of the UN Operation Restore Hope; Kismayo, Somalia, Nov 1993.

Here's Steve Shrimpton's interpretation, from 2018
