Almost there...It's a great kit, fit like a dream. Cockpit is gread OOB. Only one thing bothers me: this is 99% tail sitter. There is a lot of steel nuts and clay in nacelles and nose but still not enough. Funny thing - with propellers it's sits on nose wheel but just barely :)

White is on, now blue and red. Engine nacelles, wing parts between nacelle and fuselage and part of fuselage from cockpit to trailing edge will be blue. narrow strip between blue and white will be red. Hoping to finish it this week :)

Very nice paint scheme.

Curious as to why you left the cannons on the kit.  I would have thought it best to reduce weight or is that to intimidate the other contestants?  :)

Probably Hollywood prop cannons to intimidate the competition.

You'd need to make some changes for weight and balance, but I wonder how a postwar one with R4360's would do?

In fact, I forgot about them :( I realized that I shoud have puttied them after I put decals. My mistake...

Wow did that ever finish up a treat!

Funny how right it looks in racing colors.

I like that you kept the guns. Eliminates competition.

Most excellent, Artoor!

Looks awesome, Artoor!

However, Ta-154's always look depressed & slump-shouldered, to me; like the're carrying the weight of the world & aren't overly happy about it. ???

Needs some 'Cars' style eyes on the windscreen, sad of course.
