Got a 1/72 Re.2005 kit that I want to do as a Swedish Re.2005M, or Re.2005G, from the post-war period since the Daimler-Benz, or Italian equivalent, engine wouldn't be available any more.

*shrug* That doesn't bother me, I can deal with the shipping costs.  Drop me a PM and let's discuss.

Thanks,
Evan

Evan / Kit:

I have Aero Team MK 21 I can part with. Would that work out?

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

  • Measures the actual aircraft before modelling it...we have the photographic evidence.

And if Carl & Kit can't help, I've got a DB Productions Griffin Spitfire nose & prop conversion I can let go (found while trying to find kits for others)

All the other options are on your side of the Atlantic, so best I step aside unless you need something specific that I might have.

Thanks, folks; PM's have been sent.  PR19, thanks for the offer and help; if I need more such for other conversions (thinking that a Ki-61 would look good that way).

  • Turn that Gila-copter down!
That would look interesting next to a FIAT G.59, the Merlin converted G.55.

I've already got some 1/72 G.59 conversions sets on their way to me.  Got two of the last three that Aivation Megastore had.  I wonder how a G.59S would go over as a subtle whif?

I laso have already acquired some Mc.205M conversions for Merlin-powered Macchi's.

One to really put the cat amongst the pigeons: Re 2006 with the Grifffon installation and contra-props of the Seafang 32.

Hmm, I may have to buy a few more kits, like another Re.2006 and an appropriate Sea Fang if such exists.

Yep, I know.  Next paycheck will likely see an order go out for one of them and another RS 1/72 Re.2006.

The Sea Fang is a better model than their Spiteful (which is a bit undersize for 1/72 scale), I've got kits of both.  I've a plan where I'm going to chop out the wing root fairing from the Spiteful and then use a late model high back Spitfire fuselage to make a better Spiteful.  The rest of the Spiteful fuselage then becomes surplus to requirement ---

Mind you, I've made a mould for these ----
