Brilliant profiles!!
All the school bus needs is the arm with the stop sign that swings out!

Excellent !

Cannot really see a single one as being too far fetched.
For me the LVTP School Bus is the clear favourite, although with the way the UK appears to be heading the Manchester Police Saxon might be a bit too close to being real world

Piasecki Refreshes Hybrid Chinook Concept

AURORA, Colorado—Piasecki Aircraft says an updated version of long-running concept studies of a radically modified Boeing CH-47 Chinook combining the helicopter’s existing twin-rotor system with a tiltwing and twin tilting ducted fans has become more relevant with the U.S. Army’s growing drive for longer range troop transport and logistics support.

...

In 2008 Piasecki and Boeing revealed they had worked together on a “minimum” modification of the Chinook, called the Tilt Duct CH-47, which included a simplified version of the Vectored Thrust Ducted Propeller flown on Piasecki’s X-49A Speedhawk. Other proposed changes to the basic CH-47 at the time included bigger engines to drive the rotors and props, relocating the fuel tanks under the cabin, streamlining the aft fuselage and fairing the hubs to reduce drag.

In addition to "all of the above, ditto" two notes

the extended front hubs look like they're set up for 'doubling' the front tires, so steering can be done in deep muck
[went looking for a pic to illustrate but this was the closest I could find]

and I feel bad for the French mechanic sans chapeau.
He's bald and will get a headache if he's out in the sun longer than a minute.
Can you give him a squishy cap tucked into one of his pockets?

Wow! that's fantastic! The faded winter camo looks perfect. A far cry from the old Airfix kit...

Thanks, guys. It was a long but fairly easy project.

@Frank.  That "winch" at the rear is much more than just a winch.  It would also be used to power accessories by a belt drive.  Things like a saw mill for example.  A couple of my uncles back in northern Minnesota had tractors with similar rigs attached and I remember seeing them in operation with a large belt attached to the tractor and the machine that it was to provide power to through the belt drive.  Back in the day before OSHA and other agencies there were a lot of farm accidents caused by those belt drives and people getting snatched up in the belt or the belt breaking and flaying anyone in the vicinity.

I couldn't figure out what the two attachments were for, especially the lower one (I printed both). I guess that the upper one (that looks like a car wheel rim) is for a belt drive and the lower one one is used for pulling? Both definitely look like the had the potential for free field amputations.
