that Preying-Mantis is my favourite "Battle of Britain" tank !!  Considering ordering one of those kits :uuu:
Took several photos of it at Bovvy but couldn't afford the info pack on its development.

The Churchill SPG is also of a prototype that never proceeded - its at Bovington awaiting "restoration"(its left-hand side was blown away on the ranges).

I can tell you that there was a Beverette with a BP Defiant turret used for airfield defense at an RAF base "somewhere in England"  I scratch built a standard Beverette once and the article had a picture of that very beast !!!  I wanted to build that one but had no way to make or source that turret. I been wanting to do another one ( the original got trashed in moving) and now I can !!!!!!   My bank account may not like it but , I WANT ONE !!!!  I MUST HAVE ONE !!!!!!!
I may be old but I'm not dead ... yet anyway ... !!!    And NO I did not know Richard III !!!!!!

Not sure if we have a topic for International Models Asia.
But just got this ordered and on the way

Given the cost of some models these days and considering what it is the price was reasonable to me
