And for some reason or other, I've got two of those Su-47 FSW kits which I've been wondering why I bought them.  Possible build coming up I think --   :)

I've just checked the drawing again. I hoped the X-29 bits would be about twice the scale or bigger than the TSR.2 bits, but it appears the X-29 are only about 1.75 times the scale of the TSR.2. I had hoped for a bigger scale to use 1/72 X-29 wings on a 1/144 TSR.2 fuselage. With the smaller wings, it would look more "bomber", rather than the "fighter" looks it has now. Some creative cutting might help with that...

Here's another one, this time with F-117 tails. These might actually look cooler on a fighter-sized X-29.

Hmmm, something for the X-Men?  :P

Random idea:  TSR.2 derived executive jet...in similar vein as MiG-25 and F-106 derived designs.

Replace second seat with a passenger section ala' the F-106 proposal or just reconfigure to add more seats like the MiG-25 proposal?   I like the first approach better, myself.  I can just see an Eagle C.3 in Transport Command markings in that configuration (a little much, I'd reckon, for Royal Flight markings).

I was thinking of adding more seat - probably remove the avionics bay + stretch the fuselage.  The result won't be comfortable or even practical, but who cares... ;)

True.  I would imagine it would be for special VIP transport needs, only.  I've got a scheme for a three-seat, weather radar only, version of the F-20 for a similar courier role (with both tip tanks and underwing tanks for extreme range).  Still, such an Eagle C.3 would be something different to see and I still like the idea of putting it in Transport Command markings.

How about this BOAC liveried Speedjet, appeared on the WhatIf SIG stand at Telford in 2011?  :)

You can't see the windows as they're hidden in the blue stripe, but they're there.

I like it, but what if the outer panels on the mainplane were flipped UP, instead?...

Now that's gorgeous. I love the paint scheme. I want more!

I have a 1/48 TSR-2 Meteor Sweeper Conversion for the Airfix TSR.2 (see below images).  I am thinking of doing it as a modern day satellite launcher using a retired TSR.2.
