7 June 1961 – USAF Thunderbirds F-100 Super Sabres, Royal Canadian Air Force F-86's of the Golden Hawks, and F11F-1's of U.S. Navy Blue Angels. An F-8 Crusader and 2 x T-2C Buckeyes thrown in for good measure on a busy ramp at NAS Oceana in June 1961

A few more RCAF Comet MK.I Photos. Via Facebook.

When the Comet was originally delivered to the RCAF they had square windows. These were problematic and caused structural cracking when pressurised. The fix was an oval window that did not have corners that could fail. You can see the two different window types in these photos of 5301. (RCAF photos)

There appears to be 'three' different types of window Carl, top one is square, the next one down are round, and the next one down appears to be oval.

There is square to oval. Then I guess a 2nd modification from oval to ovaler/ovalist/ovaltine? (I know, bad pun)
