The RCAF will buy them only if they are used. The last new-build dedicated passenger transport they purchased was the CC-106 Yukon in 1960, almost 60 years ago.

Damn, that almost looks like a painting, not a photo. Must have used quite a fast exposure to get the props stopped like that (either that, or dead-stick landings were being practiced).

Beautiful!! Clearly working on one of the more inboard truss segments (P1-P3 and S1 - S3) as you can see the hexagonal structure while the more outboard segments, with the solar panels, radiators, et al. are of a square structure.
