the Itsy Bitsy Mustang
« on: July 27, 2020, 05:17:19 PM »
this is going to be my second, but smaller entry, into this GB.
this is going to be a scale-o-rama project with a bit of humor (wich in these times we all need).

the idea came from this  8)

im planning on turning a 1/144 P-51D Mustang into a 1/72 Mini Mustang.
and just to add a bit of Brian Da Basher vibe to the build, its gonna have spats  ;D
the spats will be taken from a revell 1/144 Ju87 that im using as a parts source, the wingshield and pilot are from the sparesbox.
on the bench:
-various models

on the drawing board:
-various 1/72 TinTin aircraft
-1/72 Eurocopter Tiger (Belgian Army)
-various other 1/72 and 1/144 aircraft

I like it  The P-51D is a beautiful aircraft but its Real World undercarriage lacks a certain je ne sais quoi  ;)
