Hi all,
This original 1971 boxing of the 141 came in a care package from a forumite early last year. Everything was there aside from the tail strut, decals (a Revell Stuka sheet was in there) and instructions, Scalemates to the rescue for the latter!
Just a bit of fun and it was - no filling, no sanding, the trickiest part was going through my decal spares.
And in case you're wondering about the codes: I did a stint as a radio announcer when I was in my teens and I love Burger King ;D

And another astounding build from DJ Burger King 8) ;)

Asymmetrical strangeness looking its very best. Fine paint job, especially on those many canopy lines.
-
Nice job on such an ancient kit! It's from the heyday of the Airfix mad riveter.
-
Nice work.
-
Bam ! Done !
The way kits used to be built and well done at that
-
Thank you all for your kind words! You've made me smile.
Fine paint job, especially on those many canopy lines.
Thin brush and prayers for a steady hand to whichever god will listen ;D

"To govern the canopy-painting hand and the marking of kits, and to separate wiggly lines from those which are straight; and the modelling deities saw that it was good." ;D

...Try spraying clear semi-gloss next time, looks like its been a rainstorm. Built the bugger c.1986-7, uneven greenhouse & nose fits; early 1970s Airfix still engineering 1/72nd molds ala 1950-60s, clunky & rivet-bound though nowhere near bad as FROG's. Japanese already ahead of West tooling really good 1/72 models by 1971, what I'd give to have Hasegawa's Macchi C.202 instead of SUPERMODEL's 1973 kit by 1978 when I'd resumed scale model building.
