1/48 F7U-3 Cutlass from Hobbycraft.
Of course what-if in the Grim Reapers Sqn. markings. Missiles from Hasegawa set, seat from Aires. Painted with Tamiya paints and weathered with Tamiya pigments and washes. Hope you'll like it :)

Wow! That has to be the best looking Cutlass I have seen yet. Excellent work!

Awesome build Artur. :)

Wow!!! :)

Great model of so unusual shape! :-*
Maybe that was the unconscious source of my twin-fin FW16 without tailplanes... (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=6661.15 (http://beyondthesprues.com/Forum/index.php?topic=6661.15) )

Awesome build! :)
The Cutlass has a look that lends itself to SciFi, too. ;)

Great airplane and awesome build! :)

Seeing the images of this finished Cutlass makes me almost want to go and get one just to fondle and think of what if things that could be done with it.
Swing wing/VG Cutlass perhaps? Kit bash with a smaller scale F-14 for the intakes and exhaust and finally give the Cutlass the power it needed to get off the deck without that overly long front gear strut?

It just need bigger engines, f.ex. from Phantom. I think F-4 exhaust would do the trick :) I must reconsider it when Cutlass will need refurbishing in future :)

Beautiful build and great paint job & weathering!

Wow just stunning! Perfect markings, too!
If those markings are "wrong", I don't wanna be right!
Great stuff!

My last visit to Skyway Model Shop, there was on kit on the very top shelf above the doorway that was still available. :)

Thanks Jeff. Went today and no sign of it. Just as well anyway, as I've re-read reviews of the kit and reminded me of its issues. Makes this build all the more impressive!

I seem to recall KittyHawk or someone was working on a new one in 1/48 so maybe wait for that.
