Only the paper one appears to be realistic looking.  The handmade one I don't think I'll be bothering with, while the photoetch and decal ones appear rather unrealistic to my eye,.  Problem is, thats for the Cam-Net.  The panels on the Abrahms and M88 look rather different, rather "flatter" and with large areas of smooth surface.   I think I'll give the paper one a go though, as I have a couple of vehicles which need some cam-net which it would look good on.

2 stupid questions:

1. What all's packed into the Breacher's turret that would need room made if you lopped it off and plopped on one off an M1A2?
2. Any decent Abrams in 1/48? (Not like the Tamiya wire-out-its-butt "U-build toy"... unless that's better than it's given credit for.)

Random idea:  Sovietized M1 with 125mm main gun and 14.5mm AA gun.

There was the KVT attempt to "Sovietize" the M1.

Duane Pfister actually built one a long time ago in a modeling magazine far away called Military Modeler or maybe it was Scale Modeler magazine.  I remember that both magazines were published by the same company and that the publisher was located in the greater metropolitan area of Los Angeles, CA.  Duane Pfister was a regular contributor to both with a variety of historical and what-if modeling subjects that were all interesting in one way or another.  Anyway, Mr. Pfister (now deceased) swapped out the main gun from the M1 Abrams for the 125mm tube from a T-72 and added a few other unique to Warsaw Pact vehicle parts and painted it up as an Iraqui Abrams that was supposed to have been modified by General Dynamics for sale to Iraq during the Iran-Iraq war period.  Of course a search on-line provides nothing image-wise.

Yep. An Aussie one, no less. Originally made for "Courage Under Fire", but I think some of them were later used on other movies.

Noticed the M-1 near the start of "American Sniper" had very M-60 looking suspension and lower hull profile, maybe a dressed up M-48 or M-60.

??? Movie prop?

Originally a Centurion Mk.V which was purchased from the bloke who bought all of the Australian Army's Centurions when they changed over to the Leopard AS1.   He bought the lot, plus all their spares.  Sold approximately 30 to Hollywood and the rest to private collectors around the world.   He sold the spares as well, separately.
