First up - for non-aussies:

5 AVN here refers to the Australian Army's 5th Aviation Regiment.

I had a couple of old/damages 1/48th helos:







So rather than try and totally refurbish them - I thought of two aircraft in maintenance:











for the figures, I've tried to emulate (loosely) the ADF's DPCU - shown here (the desert version:

I work with a couple of ex-5AVN guys who were involved in the maintenance including setting up workshops.  Will show them the pics.

I did something similar when I built this one, tried to copy the camo battledress in the top pic
