Does anyone know if you can get a M621 mount like that pictured below in 1/48?

Oooh! Nice! :P

Does it come in 1/35th? ;)

Not helpful, I know, but awesome door gun!

I wonder how one would go using something such as Ace's 1/48 2cm Flugabwehrkanone 30 Flak 30 (see below) as the basis for this?

Seems as though the gun in that 1/48 kit is a good basis to start from...don't know if the barrel lengths are close, but with some styrene bits-n-bobs you could modify the gun body to more closely resemble the M621.  Same for the swing arm and mount - styrene rod/tube and strip with a lot of sanding to get the shapes right.  That spent brass bag would be a tricky detail - not sure what the best way would be to go on that.

Navweaps gives the following for Flak 30/38:

Gun Length oa   88.7 in (2.2525 m)
Bore Length   51.2 in (1.300 m)

... and this for M621:
Gun Length oa    87 in (2.207 m)
Bore Length   @ 57 in (1.460 m)

The Flak 38 would probably be the better choice, as to my eye it looks a bit more 'modern' than the 30.  :icon_fsm:

Tamiya do the Flak 38 Flakvierling in 1/48. So you'd have more guns to play with.  ;)
