1/48 S-2T Conversion Set:

Personally, I don't need the conversion as I already have something on this front, though others might be interested.

That said, the engines could be interesting to use on other Wright R-1820 powered platforms such as:

  • DC-3/C-47 - a different sort of turbo-Dak
  • B-17 - get two sets and make a turbo-Fortress (maybe a firebomber?)
  • Grumman HU-16 Albatross?
  • Lockheed Hudson?

Or simply do S-2Ts for other users such as Australia or Canada?

Yes they are Bill.  I bought 2 S-2 sets from Wolfmodel in Germany.  Good seller.  http://www.wolfmodel.de/conversion/conversion.html

and from Alley Cat models which has S-2 and noless than 9 DC-3/C-47 to Basler BT-67 and other conversions here: http://www.alleycatmodels.co.uk/alleycat-aircraft-sets-172-scale-233-c.asp
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.
