a friend of mine in japan has started to play about with rendering. mostly she does star trek stuff as she has a fascination with it but she did this for me a few days ago as she knows i like planes/model making

thought id share cos i think its great

I'll have to say that the jet looks pretty stock and trade but the shading and lighting are better than most and the backdrop is photogenic and even has a painters perspective on the colors, the softened hues and gradients. If this is a first effort, its really incredible.

Gorgeous work!!  I'll have to see if I can find some old ST designs I did that she might be interested in.
