Here is the T-70 Xwing body mated to ARC 170 engines and wings. I call it the Incom/Sorosub T-85.
The engines were mounted via a length of square brass tube stock the runs through the body, then it was secured with loctite epoxy and aves.
I have to fill the holt in the lower nose of the batter compartment, and sctrach bash a new cockpit but this is a fun bash.
The long needle nose of the t-70 with the big engines and wings of the arc 170 makes and interesting looking ship.

Interesting. What scale?
-
The t-70 Xwing from force awakens in about 1/50, but I am calling it 1/48. I am not sure what the ARC 170 scale is but it appears to be close.
A 1/48 aftermarket cockpit should work in there just fine with a little modification

What ARC 170 kit are you using?
-
You would have to ask that.
I want to say the revell sanp kit from a few years ago. Its prepainted and goes together fairly well.
Now I am gonna have to do something with that ARC170 body I have left over.

Already has a lot of promise. Great start

Put P-60 wings and booms on it, paint it black, and see who notices? ;D
