I have the 1/72nd scale modern soviet air base set, which includes a few of these plates. unfortunately not really enough to make the set worthwhile. This new set should hopefully remedy that somewhat.
<...> it might not take much effort to come up with a nice little 4X4 AWD overlander hunting vehicle for a rich socialite on safari? <...>
Earth to ICM the Beech 18/C-45/Expeditor etc., was a US aircraft not a British aircraft. :-\
Lookin' forward to that KAMAZ 6x6 truck! 8)

Sorry? Who? ???
On another note: It's good to see they promote their own 1/72 ATZ-5-4320 Fuel Bowser kit (ICM 72613) in the box art. ;)

I hope the figures have better looking slouch hats, with the correct bash, than they do in the box art.
Most diggers bent their brims down to cover their eye. At least they are not rolled/folded!

If there is a conversion to the airliner version of the He111, a couple of those mixed with the He111Z could make for an interesting civil aircraft or military transport.

Can anyone recommend a reliable US retail source for ICM and some of the other Ukrainian-Eastern European model manufacturers? Sprue Brothers is kinda-sorta okay for Miniart and Master Box but ICM seems difficult to find in stock outside of its home country. Normally, I don’t mind ordering from outside the US but right now, international shipping seems pretty iffy.
Err...probably not. The current Audi is only around 6mths old.
1/72, 1/32 or 1/35 would have been better scales.
I recall reading somewhere that by the end of WWI Australia had one of the most highly motorised armies in the world, all of the vehicles were left in Europe and the middle east, as where almost all the horses and heavy equipment. The worst thing was that Australia was left with the bill for all of the stuff they left behind and reverted to basically a pre-war infantry / cavalry, citizen army structure.

I wish ICM would do their 1/72nd He-70 G airliner in 1/48th.
It was an attractive bird IMHO:
One can definitely hope for that.It was an attractive bird IMHO:
It sure was. But if they make that He 70G kit, somebody will have to make a conversion set for Roll-Royce's G-ADZF!

Possibly modify one of the AZ Model Kits:

Maybe pull something off a kit such as this:

I've got a 1/72 MPC YOV-10 kit in the stash, but it has a different turret. How many versions of the real thing were there ?I was a little curious about that myself - I had the original Airfix boxing of the kit, and the turret wound up on two or three different

Hopefully they will do an RAF Mk.II & a RAAF Mk.VII/VIII (as the top & bottom engine-intakes are different to the RAF version) ?

I'm interested to see the sprues to see if the parts might already be there...
Looks like the image has gone.
Obviously didn't like what you were implying, Carl. ;)

Some of the 1/24th vintage cars look interesting as do the 1/16th figures (ex--Airfix / Aurora ?)
That's going to be a big kit...

I've watched these things drop antennas onto existing towers.
(https://arc-anglerfish-arc2-prod-gmg.s3.amazonaws.com/public/Q6G7K4ERRRDMPEZ5VY3WEFNEQE.jpg)One way to display it would be on top of a 5' - 6' torchiere floor lamp, with a second power cord running up through the 'antenna' load.
Make the load 'diamond' out of little sheets of plexi, paint the edges so they look like the cables.
Motorize the blades if you're really insane.
Everything would be high enough that decapitating yourself would be unlikely.
If it’s molded in white it would make painting a lot easier. You could the US Forest Service version.
Those figures would be great in some 30s-50s scifi models.

There were several Republic serials with this character. "King of the Rocket Men" (1949) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_of_the_Rocket_Men) was the first; the most famous was probably the Commando Cody (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commando_Cody) character. The serials are... not good.

I recommend it.

Scales to super heavy lift when built/bashed as 1/72 !
Yes understand. Beauty of it is in styrene kit-bash engineering this does not happen.Scales to super heavy lift when built/bashed as 1/72 !
The rotor tips would be hitting mach 1! :-)
Just rake the tips back to increase the mach number a little bit... ;)
Not a small build:

Dare I suggest a resin company do an up-grade set for a DAP Mk.V/VI, VII or Mk. 8 ?
Beaufort with folding wings and arresting hook would be a nice what-if RN/RAN torpedo bomber.

Is that your wallet screaming?
what are the dimensions (per box) when connected? looks like 8" x 5" roughly?Kit instructions state: 210mm X 336mm which gives you enough available space for the CH-54 Tarhe helicopter in 1/35th scale.

Just one small step! :icon_alabanza: :icon_meditation: :icon_crap: Please?!That "one small step" will see you looking for a larger residence to display the thing plus the other three you will keep in your stash. Not to mention the disharmony that will be created when you bring all of the kits home.
