The place to put any virtual entries (profiles or dance videos) along with a name.

Oooops! Would probably help if I actually entered it. A MiG-23PE Flintlock of the Libyan Air Force on a reconnaissance mission somewhere near Lampedusa:

A riff on a Peter Elson concept. Original  thread is below.

Very nice  And I love those intakes  :-*   I wonder, though, was this recce mission near Lampedusa before or after the decommissioning of the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) ?  ;)

Thanks all.

After seeing how CV-67 was treated in the film 2012, I'd be inclined to leave the poor old girl alone. That said, I've been playing with the idea of AS-4 Kitchen training rounds developed because no-one wants to fire off a full-up round. Image a skinnier warhead-less missile body married to Kitchen surfaces. An enterprising Libyan might be able to squeeze one under an Su-22. Even without a warhead, the fuel and kinetic energy would worry an OHP at least.  :icon_vader:

Do you realise how weirdly that sentence reads? :-\ ;)

Well if the Russians can get Granit surfaces to fly, why not the whole Kitchen Kaboodle! [groans]
