Just another Robot Apocolypse
« on: November 28, 2017, 10:28:02 PM »
The title is a catchall: I'll be doing as many robot killing machines as I can manage in the next few weeks. Here's a start, based on concepts of Kow Yokoyama.Specifically, the Neuspotter
a mess. Some self-assembly required.

The top from a bandai 1/48 Schwimmwagen, bisected and folded, starts the sensor head

Thimbles from an old magic set, fin from a 1/48th Apache, Evergreen and Aves.

Head progresses -more tiny bits to be added.

AIs tend to be hot-heads, so proper venting is essential.

Arms attached. Fenders from an old Fujimi 1/76 jadpanther and evergreen strut

Alla God's Robots got guns...

More of a ghost-noid robot :D ( It has no legs, but floats along on its anti-gravity drive ) This is the
original inspiration.

Thanks, colleagues. Here's the next one:

The piece with the prongs sticking off it will be attached to the underside of the main body. They will also be clad, serving as a
mounting pylon for a missile load out.

I do my humble best :icon_fsm:

Progress:

I'm calling it a McKie Drone. It will be colorful, with a huge missile on its hip.

Getting close, but the weather has been limiting time in the workshop. Managed to get some brush work done yesterday, so if the space heater makes things tolerable, I may have these done by deadline.

Nearly there with the McKie drone and the Schmetteling. ( The former in the bright primary colors, the latter in the earth tones. )
Also, a Punkerpan. I am hoping the weather warms enough to make Friday and Saturday productive enough to finish.
