I tend to take the opposite view, creations are submitted within a time frame and chosen by public vote. To me that is part of the fun.

For what its worth, the competition was pretty hi-quality and difficult to choose, but for me it was a toss up between Brian's Vultee Varsity and Nil's Baby Electra
