Scania 8x4 Heavy Hauler with trailer
« on: July 21, 2016, 09:01:29 PM »
The tractor unit is mostly heavily modified from two kits and some minor scratch building and kit bashing. The trailer is scratch built. Still looking for a load for this thing. Not an easy task when there are only a couple to choose from. Of course they are expensive. For now it will remain as is until I can figure out what to put on it without breaking the bank.

Very nice work!  The weathering is excellent and it looks as if it just left the delivery site.  :)

Charles, you are the king of realistic finishes! It really is hard to tell that this is a model without real world items in the scene.

Well Done!!  As the guys have been saying, hard to tell that's not a real truck without something in the pic to scale it against - and I just love your weathering!  Absolutely perfect!!  :)

Just incredible museum-quality work! I can almost smell the diesel fumes!

You've really got the distressed "wear-and-tear" look down pat. Talk about amazing talent!

Thanks everyone. Btw, outside photos always help make  model look realitic when taken right. That's why I try and as many outside photos with my models as possible, when I can.
