New to the Forum! Jeffry invited me and I figured I would check it out! I mostly build Middle East Wars armor and I got the idea from listening to Sam Kinison's stick on Desert Storm.

Welcome aboard Mark! Glad to see you here.
That Scud/al Abbas launcher is an interesting combination of parts in different scales for that "scale-o-rama" effect.
-
THat is pretty awesome!! Welcome!!
-
neat combo :D could be in any mid-east country - Iraq, Libya, Syria, Iran :)
Glad to welcome another AFV whiffer !

When it seems I have seen it all but know I haven't here at BTS, this proves it so.
Building-selling these may be what Kmart stock prices need.
-
Wow! Love it.
Welcome aboard. Great to have you join us.
Regards,

That's some fantastic work! I really like the details like the shielding on the cab windows.
I wonder if they got this on a Blue Light special?
Welcome to the mad house, Mark!

Thanks for the warm welcome and nice comments! I try to keep the "what-ifs" to a "reasonable" assumption of plausibility. I am currently working on a IDF Jagdpanzer38t. The Czechs offered to sell them 16 of their ST-1 (late model) back in 48/49 but the price was too high.

That could be interesting if it is armed with the 105mm gun used on the IDF M51 Sherman :)

Actually I am building two and thinking of a third! The Hetzer will be done late 1956 with the large white ID markings and various Israeli modfications in the new Sand Gray paint. I am also doing a BergeHetzer in OD Green about the time of operation DANI and a third (still in the process stage) will be similiar to the first but mounting the IMI 60mm Hyper-velocity gun that they sold to the Chilian Army to mount on their M51 tanks.

I like that, would be interesting to watch that thing drive down a busy badly paved road somewhere in the middle East. >:D

Yeah, were I driving it, I'd be giving the car in front of me plenty of room. You wouldn't want to brake took hard!
Cheers,
