Could have happened for real too.

During the mid to late 1990’s there were a number of times that Sukhoi Su-27 (and derivatives) could have entered western service - probably in a westernised version.  One such case was with the RAF.  When the Eurofighter 2000 (before it was called the Typhoon) was going through a lot of ups and downs - there was talk of a single engined version as well as talk of countries pulling out altogether.  Into this environment Mikhail Simonov suggested that Sukhoi could offer the RAF a westernised Su-27 or even Su-35.  This would probably have involved western engines, avionics and weapons being fitted to green airframes.

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

Point has been made ! The Su-27, 30, 35 family of fighters looks incredible in pretty much any paint finish. Like the Phantoms and 262's also.

Have you thought of any Air Demonsration teams markings? The 27's look great in Russian Knights and Sky Hussars colors, but how about Blue Angels, T-Birds, Red Arrows, Canadian Team, Tiger Meet colors ?

Another might be JASDF blue Impulse or their 50th anniversary schemes, like the Chrysanthemum Mountains or Shiro Ryuu
