Title: L/F 1/48 Penguin Missiles
Post by: elmayerle on August 20, 2015, 10:28:09 PM
Preferably the version carried by Norwegian F-16s, though I can work with the version carried by Naval Hawks.  Needed for a couple Norwegian whifs I'm considering.  I could also use 1/48 Norewgian markings from F-16's, F-104's, or F-5's.

You used to be able to get these:

Not sure if they're still available though

Considering that the website is no longer there, I rather doubt they are still around.  Still, I'll send an email off to the address shown.

Shawn Hull (of shull24) closed up shop a while back due to personal/family obligations, unfortunately.  I have his WCMDs, JDAMs and B-1 Sniper and ALE-50s.  Very nice stuff.

Do any of the Hasegawa weapon sets have Penguins?  I'm at work or I'd check my stash.  I have A thru E sitting on the shelf.

Not that I can tell from examining them online.  Their 1/72 sets have the AGM-119B carried by MH-60s, but not the AGM-119A; some 1/48 MH-60B/F/R/S kits might have them, but I don't know.  If I have examples of the AGM-119B, I can remove the booster and replace the main wings to make AGM-119A examples.

Just checked through the LemonJello Heavy Industries warehouse/armory - no AGM-119s of any flavor on hand.
