Title: Teensy weensy Henschel
Post by: uncle les on September 14, 2014, 09:32:58 PM
Here's another weekend quickie - sort of.  Started last Saturday and then picked up again today.
Not happy with the innards I fashioned a cockpit from scratch, built a new engine, vacformed a new canopy and handpainted the markings other than the balkenkruz & swastikas.
I'll give is a base and a flat coat later in the week.

Without a size reference - easily passes as 1/72.

That's some of the most amazing work I've ever seen in 1/144!

You have super-human skill and patience, Uncle Les!

Nahhhhh. Just years of practice. But he does excell in a subject selection and scratch building.

You definitely have better eyesight and a steadier hand than me.

Superb if a little on the large side.
Have you seen the Armory Polikarpov I-16 type 24 in this scale.
You get two models in the small box with lots of PE bits which includes seat belts having three parts each.
The box states that each model has :
Length 43mm
Span  61mm
Plastic parts  15
PE parts  27
Vacformed parts  1
