you could dress a Neptune up in a mini skirt and call it Mable, I would love it the same!!!
:D  I didnt used to like the Neptune, but as I started drawing the profiles, it grew on me. Might just get a kit one day? The the JMN's might not even notice?

Just a few more oldies.
The Freebooter started off as a Reno Racer profile, then I went crazy!

Thanks guys and glad you enjoy them.
I was busy going through some of my old stuff, when I came across the Wyvern profiles I did. Amongst them was a funny one I did, last year this time. It's a Wyvern on floats (idea from a good friend of mine) belonging to pirates, but it was then used as a background to draw some worms from the game "WORMS Armagedon". I edited it a bit.

Enjoy :D

Corsairs with an inline engine. Genius. I'd take those into a dark room and do very dirty things with them. Assuming of course, Scooterman, isn't already in that dark room doing dirty things to who the hell knows what.

Somebody needs to build those SAAF Neptunes. Those look so incredibly plausible it'd be sure to mess with the JMN's heads at a show.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Also all the best wishes to everyone for the feastive season. It's an honor and priviledge to share a cool site like this with you guys.

It's good to hear that Scooterman's "Darkroom skunkworks" is up and running... oops! did I say that too loud? :D Dont want that ninja to open up a can of whip-ass on me...   :ninja:....... :zombie:

I've been playing around with more ideas for the Clunk. Raised the spine and changed the nose and cockpit. Then changed that to a V-tail config, but have no idea what it's purpose will be ???
Some ideas would be appreciated?

For my mind, it's starting to look like a big advanced trainer or ECM type ship.

I'm going to make moulds of the Freebooter's nose and exhaust stacks. Should save a lot of time?

Anyway, back to the Clunk. This one is based on the Grumman Guardrail.

It might just be me, or the Christmas spirit, but that looks like a Magister on very heavy steroids.

Happy Crimbo and a memorable New Year!!!!

Same to you.
You are right, it does look like that. :o

Anyway, I've started touching up an old drawing of a Super Etendard with some Mirage goodies on it.

For something completely out of left field, how about a Neptune with folding wings and turbine power to put the "heavy" back on the carrier deck?

Hi Jeffry,
I've done a turboprop version, or do you mean turbofan? :slow:

Here is another Ultra Etendard with twin engines and twin tail fins.

Nice. The twin engined "Ultra Etendard" screams Mirage 4000 to me but the twin seat drooped nose is a nicer look. Reminds me of a two seat Cheetah dose out on 'roids.

Thanx,
The twin engined version was inspired by the Rafale.
I love the Cheetah B and D, but they look a bit clumbsy compared to the Ultra Etendard.

Hi John,

It was your profile of the turbine powered Neptune that prompted the suggestion of folding wings with turbines.  Early Neptunes performing the nuclear strike mission did get launched from carriers with RATO units attached and a long deck run to get airborne.  The aircraft were large and took up a lot of deck space so a folding wing Neptune would be a nice solution to that problem.  The turbines would just make it all that much better.

It'd be like an A2J Super Savage but not as portly looking:

Contraprops, of course, kick any prop-driven aircraft up a notch.
