SH-145MG "German Marineflieger"
« on: February 04, 2012, 06:25:59 PM »
i found a revell 1/72 EC-145 kit in the stash i forgot i had, figured it would make a good lookin navy helicopter.
at first i was planning to equip it with Sea Skua missiles, but now i seem tempted to modify the helicopter to an anti-submarine warfare role.
modifications would include closing up some windows, install a dunking sonar and torpedo racks.

i found some old Revell Seaking Mk41 decals, so that would make is an ideal replacement for the german navy Lynx Mk.88's

on the bench:
-various models

on the drawing board:
-various 1/72 TinTin aircraft
-1/72 Eurocopter Tiger (Belgian Army)
-various other 1/72 and 1/144 aircraft

Interesting idea for sure!  :) I'd go for the Sea Skuas, though. Those things look mean.  >:D
